Cookie Policy
Effective date: November 5, 2026
This page explains the cookies and browser storage used on gameonsign.com. For everything else about your data, see the Privacy Policy.
Analytics cookies (Google Analytics)
Google Analytics (ID G-W0G69ZCGBG) sets first-party cookies, such as _ga and _ga_W0G69ZCGBG, to count visits and see which pages are used. Reports are used only in aggregate. Opt out with the Google Analytics opt-out add-on.
Advertising cookies (Google AdSense)
Pages with ads load Google AdSense. Google and other third-party vendors use cookies, including the DoubleClick cookie, to serve ads based on your visits to this and other websites, to limit how often you see an ad and to measure ads. The About page has no ads.
- Turn off personalized ads in Google Ads Settings.
- Opt out of some third-party vendors at www.aboutads.info.
- Read how Google uses cookies in advertising and Google's cookie types.
Visitors in the EEA, UK and Switzerland may see a consent message from Google before these cookies are used.
Local storage (your teams and favorites)
The site saves your favorite teams and some setup choices in your browser's local storage. This stays on your device, isn't sent to us as a cookie and isn't used for ads. Display settings such as teams, theme and time zone are kept in the page link you bookmark.
The API
The API used by ESP32 boards and other devices sets no cookies.
Controlling cookies
You can block or delete cookies and site data in your browser settings. Blocking them won't stop the scoreboard from working, but favorites saved in local storage will be lost if you clear site data.
